Made of 100% Tempranillo grapes, this wine has a complex nose of balsam, vanilla, smoke, bacon fat and cedar. On the palate, the powerful plumy fruit flavors come through. Smooth with a long, full, elegant finish.

Spiga 2006

Made from a small parcel of 60-plus-year-old Tempranillo vines, the resulting wine is packed with dense, smoky aromas wrapped around a core of brandied fruitcake. Huge mouth filling flavors of blackberries and roasted meat develop in the glass, all framed by wonderfully supple tannins.
